Goodbye 2008

This year has overall been a fairly bad year. It started off with an ex repeatedly screwing up my life. In January my Dear got a new job and was very happy and I had passed the one year mark on owning my car which was nice. In February my Dear moved in with me and that was nice though his parents were less than pleased, I turned 21 and had a nice little party. In March my Dear was fired from his new job and had a bit of a depression. We also went to see my baby brother graduate from his military training. I am so proud of him. In April the month seemed to pass all too quickly still with the annoying ex causing me difficulties due to a long term lease we had once shared prior to him being unfaithful. In May I learned that my Dear had too been unfaithful. He was planning to cheat on me although he had not yet accomplished the physical aspect. We are still fighting now and then about that. Also that was the month he went from my Dear to The Ass. June we went on vacation to the beach with The Ass' parents and had our two year anniversary. That month the company I worked for did lay offs and the day after I was laid off I started a new job. July we went to Tennessee with The Ass' parents and had a somewhat miserable time there. Not so much a vacation as a blur which resulted in me having two broken toes. The Ass was doing well at his new job and had no known slip ups but things were still very rocky. August came and so did my Grandmother's birthday and my brother came home to visit for a couple of weeks. I couldn't believe how much he had changed in just a short period of time. It was amazing to see the differences. About this time my new job became a pain in my butt and very tedious. September came and so did anxieties about upcoming exams. A knit group was in the works and soon became a reality. The Ass was getting less hours and becoming more intolerable which lead to one explosive fight that seemed to steam out a few wrinkles in the relationship. My brother also deployed for Iraq. October rolled around and there were many parties and reconnecting with old friends and family. The Ass and I remained at our respective jobs. I started penning a novel. November rolled in and the novel was set aside. Test dates were set and The Ass and I both complained daily about our jobs. We both applied for new ones. Knitting was at a stand still and the overtime hours I was not payed for caused me to become very angry. One of my best girlfriends also announced that she was pregnant and engaged and I was set to play the rolls of Maid of Honor as well as Godmother. I am ecstatic! Another best girlfriend announced her wedding and that I was to be Maid of Honor in her wedding as well. We traveled to Ohio for Thanksgiving and exchanged gifts with The Ass' family. I enjoyed the trip although not always the company we kept. November was a good month with the exception of having walking pneumonia to the point of collapsing. December came in swiftly and my boss realized she was pregnant. This means that now both of my supervisors are pregnant. I made my first sweater for a baby shower. I got some news back on the job I had applied for and things look good. My test results came back and I passed easily. My brother got news that he was accepted to West Point Military Academy as well as becoming a Sgt and getting his stripes. I am so incredibly proud of him. The house got some repair work and The Ass' car broke down for it's final goodbye. The Ass got a new car which I think is mighty spiffy. The Ass' parents had us over for Christmas at which point his father felt the need to reprimand us for the car we bought, the lifestyle we lived, and my family's religion. His mother deemed it necessary to have a fit in a pet store, crying included, because The Ass told her we were going to church with my family rather than his. I assured them it was just Christianity and they in their ignorance decided that it was a cult and they know this because they've never had a conversation with someone of that religion or been to any of their religious functions, so it must be true. I finally got some help at work. She smokes a lot and plays around on her computer because she (like most of the office staff) is either a friend of relative of the boss. I got some nice deal holiday shopping and lost a couple of pounds. We celebrated the new year at three parties and then passed out after fighting about The Ass' parents. So all in all not the best year, but here is hoping for 2009.

:)

I got just because flowers. As in "just because I made a butt of myself doesn't mean I don't love you."

I've been knitting a bit as well. Mostly socks and a few other small projects.

I got a new job and a new bag to carry my files.

I was finally talked into reading a little book series you may have heard of.

And I made orange pomegranate marmalade. It's so good!

Twilight

I'm a Esme! I found out through TwilightersAnonymous.com. Which Twilight Female Are You? Take the quiz and find out!

You are thoughtful and care very deeply for your family. A loving home is of great
importance to you and you always try to make people feel welcome. Although you have a great capacity to love, you also have a great capacity to hurt, so at times you can be
sensitive. You're firm when you need to be, but people trust your judgment and
appreciate the kind way you always handle things.

Flarg.

Today was so hectic. I have a bit of help at work now but the person who was supposed to be training her is not. Which means that I have to train her plus handle everything I was already doing. I left two hours late today still having things left to do. I didn't eat lunch until 5 and now I just have an angry tummy and a headache. The Intolerable Tenenbaums are at it again. Each with their own unique spin on how to be mind blowingly deplorable. The know it all bf wrecked his car and immediately goes out and hands out his social to several lots. They all of course run his credit and say, "oh you can get a car on your own but you should get a co-signer for a lower rate". So he comes in saying I need to do the same. I say, no it doesn't work that way. You find the car you want and then you get your credit pulled. He says no that's dumb. I say well I've purchased a car on credit, have a house with a loan, have a higher credit score, and don't miss my bill payment so I would know. He says no it doesn't lower your score each time they pull your credit. I say yes it does (which is stupid but true). He yells and yells. I try to make him realize he needs to research vehicles before buying one and that he needs to look for something $5,000 and under so that he can afford payments. He of course just goes with whatever his brother forwards to him (which are all out of his price range). Then the brother starts in on me, along with my bf, about how I should be more willing to help. It's not will I lack. I just happen to have common sense, which is what's holding me back. So then the mother dearest starts texting every 10 minutes to see if he's found a new car yet. My God people! It's called impulse buying and it's what you don't do. Mommy dearest is a whole other realm though. I'm still pissed off that she thought it was perfectly fine for her to march through my house when her little baby lost his job. He rents but it is my house and that is extremely disrespectful. It's not her place to dictate to him how to live. He is 25 and should make his own decisions. For that matter, if I'm cosigning with him on some car, then it is our decision which car WE get. Butt out people. He's pretty spineless when it comes to them though. He still hasn't told them that he's been a buddhist for years now. My family and I don't always get along but they are aware of the fact that my will is my will and my mind is my mind. I keep my mind open to their suggestions but I do not need to have my hand held. Why are some people so irritatingly unmotivated?! I had to delay school for a bit to take care of my family but I'm starting back next fall and will finish my degree. I have a job which pays my bills and I'm taking up a second job to eliminate my house and car notes. And here next to me is the man who's perpetually late. It really infuriates me at times that I have to drag him along with me. He yells at me for not going to the gym with him regularly. I may not go regularly but that may be because I'm the one who takes care of the house, does our laundry, cleans, does the yard work, and works over full time. I also have a Godchild on the way and am avidly studying for a second job and taking online classes. So pardon me if I can't always drop everything I'm doing to do what you want to do. I do go to the gym but I go when it's best for me. Yes I could be in better shape but explain to me why when we both went for our physicals I came out in better health than you overall despite having some extra weight. That's right. My heart is healthier, my endurance is better, even my eye sight prevails! So take your bull and shove it. I am not the most gifted, the smartest, the most talented, or the most fit person but I am a better rounded individual than you. So lay off. If I hear the word Mensa one more time I am going to stab someone. So you're a club for smart people. Good for you. Guess what, so am I. Stop pretending it's a big deal or it makes you superior to others. This is why people avoid you. Argh!!!! In other news, no we have not decided on a car. Oh and when you lie to someone and then get mad at them for not trusting you, you just look like an ass.

Depressed.

I've been so down recently. I just feel overwhelmed by doing so much and trying to do so much and my Grandmother constantly overdrawing her account and it's all just so frustrating. Jim wrecked his car yesterday and it needs a new transmission and he of course drove it past the point of no return. The smart mouthed bitch pissed me off again. My ego tripping, control freak boss is driving me insane. And the insane mole from hell is really trying my last nerve here. What she and the egotastic inside out asshole prick did is unforgivable and I hope they're prepared to burn in hell. Provided of course all their bullshit they constantly try to force on others is true. How can someone claim to be a Christian when everything they do is the opposite of Christ-like? They really just baffle my mind with that crap. Of course when you look at the other lives they've wrecked you start to ponder whether they're really just the antichrists.
