Working for the Weekend.

Well I gave up my best friend. It just wasn't working. He kept trying to make more out of it than was there and you can only tell someone no so many times. Sad too.

Anyway this weekend should prove busy. Tonight I have to finish my laundry, work on a costume and make two cheesecakes. Tomorrow is gym, lunch, knitting, costume, and probably gym again. I *really* need to go. Sunday should prove leisurely as we'll be going to the Alabama Renaissance Fair (hence the costume sewing). Costume isn't for me though it's for my boyfriend who I now believe to be spoiled. Sunday evening means carving pumpkins and pumpkin pie with mulled cider. I like to cook but in the south it's hot and humid nearly year round so I spend most of my winter in the kitchen. *caramel without wanting to die yay*

Grandmother broke her arm last Saturday and she doesn't seem to be in pain or even mind really but I'm upset. I'm worried about her and she's just very nonchalant about it. Maybe I'm overreacting.

Three pregnant women at work and I've got the baby bug. Blame it on the increased pheramones. Every baby I see I stop to coo at. ON the upside we set a date. We're not engaged we're just aware of when we want to be. We decided we'd like to get married in 2013 preferrably June 14th our anniversary. His parents think it's very silly to date so long and we feel that it's the safest bet based on psycholocal study (he has a B.A. in psychology and is planning on a doctorate so can't fight it lol). My family thinks it's a very long time to date but realistically the best idea. Stay together a long time and sort through everything before you bring another little life into it or make a committment that will leave you with one another for another 50 years or so.
